For one of our clients we are currently recruiting an EGSE Software Engineer for their location in Bremen, Germany. Our client is one of the top players in the European space technology industry, specialized in space systems. Tasks and Responsibilities Adapt partly existing EGSE software to new EGSE hardware Coordinate EGSE rebuiltrefurbishment with EnMAP System Engineer and ACS, OCS, RF and Software departments Design, develop and validate new software for DLS SCOE incl. HSIB and CCS interface to payload EGSE Setup and validate CCS EPOCH environment for software and system tests Create STOL procedures for software validation tests, Bus functional and performance tests Create EGSE software documentation Software Maintenance Manual Support Bus System tests. Experience and education University degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline Extensive experience of implementing complex systems, developing and utilizing EGSEs, modelling monitoring and control data Knowledge of modern software engineering practices and standards applied to realtime systems Knowledge of space systems and space system engineering Experience with realtime software, Object Oriented design methods, UML, XML, Operating systems, SCOS 2000 and the SCOS 2000 MIB ICD Experience with the PUS and its tailoring Fluency in English is mandatory.
