Position Reference 114 IMSS is looking for an consultant with experience in Artificial Intelligence AI, to become part of multidisciplinary team supporting one of our client in improving Earth Observation EO data exploitation though the use of AI and cloud environments. This position is based in Frascati, Italy. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribute to the EO Exploitation Platform infrastructure and AI4EO related activities, supporting projects building Exploitation Platforms for online processing of Earth Observation data or for the creation of application based on applying AI techniques to EO data. Look after the development and operations of such platform and applications, with a particular focus on the usage of AI. Perform a range of tasks across the lifecycles of future and operational programmes in support of our clients in contributing to o Analysis of AI architectures and applications for specific tasks o Development of prototypes to rapidly assess new ideas o Preparation of dataset and material for AI based challenges. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a University degree in computer science, geo informatics or a technical field that provides similar competences. You have 24 years of experience in applying Al and Machine Learning for the creation of applications. The following skills would be highly desirable You have demonstrable experience in applying Machine Learning techniques in the EO domain. You have demonstrable experience in High Throughput Computing, High Performance Computing, Cloud Computing stack, Big Data or other distributed computing technologies. You have knowledge of ECSS, PMI, ITIL or other project management standards. You have knowledge of Exploitation Platform programme. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
