U.S. EPA added 130+ chemicals to its Safer Chemical Ingredients List. For first time, 119 chemicals that use fragrance for commercial and consumer cleaning products have been added. List of 602 chemicals provides resource for manufacturers interested in making safer products; advocates encouraging use of safer chemicals; and consumers seeking information on ingredients. Also, list serves as guide for Design for the Environment (DfE) labeled products.
