During Pollution Prevention (P2) Week (September 16–22), U.S. EPA encourages Americans to reduce carbon pollution by looking for Energy Star® label to find energy efficient electronics and appliances as well as using EPA's Green Vehicle Guide to choose more fuel efficient car. Additionally, P2 Week promotes water conservation, selection of safer products via EPA Design for the Environment (DfE) Safer Product Label, and proper use of pesticides.
