Our Built and Natural Environments: A Technical Review of the Interactions among Land Use, Transportation, and Environmental Quality was announced by EPA Acting Administrator Bob Perciasepe during national Twitter Town Hall meeting. It summarizes trends in land use, buildings, travel behavior, population growth, and expansion of developed land. Discussions on environmental consequences of these are also included, as is conclusion describing ways to reduce such effects.
