2015-10-06 14:31:10| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

EPA announced increased protections for 2 million U.S. agricultural workers and their families. Changes to Agricultural Worker Protection Standard reduce risk of injury or illness resulting from contact with pesticides on farms and in forests, nurseries, and greenhouses. Provisions include annual safety training, prohibiting children under 18 from handling pesticides, and ensuring awareness of protections afforded under this action and necessary tools to protect against pesticide exposure.
