EPA finalizes air standards for future wood heaters.

2015-02-10 14:31:40| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

EPA is finalizing standards to limit amount of pollution that wood heaters, which will be manufactured and sold in the future, can emit. Last updated in 1988, these standards reflect improved technology that is now available to make range of models cleaner burning and more efficient. Final rule will provide important health benefits to communities across the country and will be phased in over 5-year period, giving manufacturers time to adapt their product lines.
