(Telecompaper) Colombian operator Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogota (ETB) plans to launch 4G LTE services in the coming days, Comunidad Ola reports. According to the report, the telco will initially offer 4G in 41 municipalities across the country including Bogota, Barranquilla, Caldas, Bucaramanga, Envigado, Medellin, Sabaneta and Santa Marta. With this launch, ETB will become the country's fourth mobile telephony operator. Colombia's current mobile operators are Tigo, Movistar and Claro. ETB, which is majority owned by Bogota's municipal government, offers fixed telephony, data and internet services.
