India and Indonesia have taken advantage of lower currency values with their prices sharply declining on the European import market, in the first three quarters of 2013. Buyers ordered cheaper products from China, thanks to a shift to lower quality products. Turkey and Tunisia remained at the higher end of the market, by contrast. Our series of comparison tables offer a comprehensive view of EU's clothing imports per HS 4-digit category with volume, value and unit price changes, while market shares are also calculated for each major supplying country.
