EU Clothing Imports in 1st Quarter 2019: Markets (Quarterly Report)

Direct clothing shipments from outside the European Union have declined to Spain, Italy and the U.K. in the first quarter this year, in volume terms. Imports have further risen to France and Germany, by contrast. Spain remains the strongest market over the past five years. Our 5-year data from third quarter 2013 reflect long-term trends of European Union clothing markets, offering a comprehensive review of the European Union imports per destination.
