EU Clothing Imports in 1st Quarter 2019: Origins (Statistical Report)

2019-05-28 19:24:09| EmergingTextiles.com

EU's clothing imports from China have sharply declined in the first quarter this year, with Bangladesh not far from becoming the largest supplier in volume terms, although its shipments have risen at a lower pace. Imports from Cambodia have suffered from the possible removal of their duty-free access while Vietnamese shipments were shifting to the US market. Imports from Myanmar have further surged due to the continuous relocation of Chinese apparel industry. Our comprehensive reports covers the 1st quarter 2019. A large number of statistical tables are released, with volume, value and unit value changes in both euro and US$ terms. The full-year and quarterly tables are also available for download from 2014-2019.
