Haveeru: The European Union on Tuesday approved a grant aid of EUR 4 million to help Maldives tackle issues related to climate change.
The EU delegation to Sri Lanka and the Maldives said on Thursday that the funds would replicate ongoing projects, but with a focus on Addu and Fuvahmulah. It would also help build capacity of the local government and communities, the delegation said.
