The Toronto stock market was set for a lower open Wednesday amid a mixed batch of earnings news from some of Canada's biggest corporations. The Canadian dollar continued to head sharply higher a day after remarks from Bank of Canada governor Stephen Poloz that were interpreted as lessening chances of another rate cut.
