083 ABPZ20 KNHC 291142 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Wed Aug 29 2018 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Miriam, located about 1200 miles east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands, and on Tropical Storm Norman, located several hundred miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located several hundred miles south of the southern coast of Mexico are associated with a tropical wave. An area of low pressure is forecast to form well southwest of the coast of Mexico in association with this wave over the next day or two.
