000 ABPZ20 KNHC 030538 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Tue Jul 2 2019 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Barbara, located about 1200 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located several hundred miles south of the southern coast of Mexico are associated with a tropical wave. Environmental conditions appear conducive for gradual development of this system, and a tropical depression is likely to form over the weekend while this system moves westward to west-northwestward at about 15 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent. $$ Forecaster Berg
