Environmental conditions could support some slow development of this system during the next few days while the disturbance moves generally westward. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent. A low pressure system is producing a broad area of showers and thunderstorms several hundred miles south of the southwestern coast of Mexico. Some gradual development of this system is possible through the middle of this week while it moves westward, away from the coast of Mexico. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent. Another area of disturbed weather is forecast to form south of the coast of Mexico by the middle of this week.
