000 ABPZ20 KNHC 110533 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Fri Jul 10 2020 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Cristina, located several hundred miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. A tropical wave located near the Gulf of Tehuantepec is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are expected to be generally favorable for the development of a tropical depression in a few days while the system moves quickly westward well south of the coast of Mexico. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent. $$ Forecaster Cangialosi
