000 ABPZ20 KNHC 142309 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 PM PDT Wed Jul 14 2021 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Felicia, located over 600 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue offshore of the coast of southern Mexico in association with a tropical wave moving westward at 10 to 15 mph. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for gradual development over the next several days, and a tropical depression is likely to form this weekend well offshore of the southwestern coast of Mexico while the system moves westward or west-northwestward at around 15 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent. && Pubic Advisories on Tropical Storm Felicia are issued under WMO header WTPZ31 KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCPEP1.
