787 ABPZ20 KNHC 081124 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Sun Aug 8 2021 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Kevin, located several hundred miles south of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. A broad area of low pressure is producing some disorganized shower activity a few hundred miles offshore of the coasts of southern Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for development of this system, and a tropical depression is likely to form during the early or middle portions of the week.
