Ecolab sales down 5% on dollar, weak energy prices

For the current quarter, the company forecast per-share earnings of $1.24 to $1.31, mostly below estimates of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters for per-share profit of $1.31. For the latest quarter, Ecolab reported revenue decreased to $3.39 billion, below analysts' expectations for $3.48 billion.
