Economy Grows Little in First Quarter

Gross domestic product grew at a 0.1% annualized rate from January through March, compared with a 2.6% gain in the prior quarter, the Commerce Department reported April 30. The median forecast of 83 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News called for a 1.2% increase.
