Eddy Current Sensor measures thermal extension of spindles.

2014-06-23 14:29:08| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

By measuring on labyrinth-ring, eddyNCDT SGS 4701 measures thermal and centrifugal force extension of high-frequency spindles. Measured values are fed into CNC machine tool as correction values and compensate for any positioning errors. With dimensions of 4.5 x 10 x 12 mm³ or 4 x 4 x 10 mm³, miniature sensor can be integrated with controller into machine tool spindle. Unit is factory calibrated for ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic materials used by customer for maximum accuracy. This story is related to the following:Eddy Current Sensors
