Edison plans Baker power outage for maintenance

Southern California Edison officials confirmed a maintenance power outage is scheduled for Baker from 8 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday, but could not confirm a report of a total power outage for the entire High Desert town. Edison representative Caroline Aoyagi said utility employees are doing substation work and the power outage is for maintenance and repair.
