Co-sponsored by AASHTO, AAA, and US Chamber of Commerce, America's Transportation Awards competition annually recognizes best of America's transportation projects in 4 regional competitions. State transportation departments in Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina are winners in this year's southeastern regional contest. Eight projects won in each of competition's 3 categories: Best Use of Innovation, Under Budget, and Quality of Life/Community Development.
