Electric cars buzz mountains to tout tourism use

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports Friday's rally was sponsored by two car dealerships and a banking group. Organizers say the goal was to show electric cars can get up and down Colorado's mountains to see the fall colors but at less cost than gasoline-powered vehicles.
