For our activities in ESOC, we are currently looking for an Electrical Engineering Support. Tasks and Responsibilities The Electrical Engineering Project Support to be provided falls under the responsibility of the Head of ESOC Technical Management Section, responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of all ESOC buildings and facilities as well as, their compliance with the applicable European, national and local regulations. The Key Person shall support the Head of ESOC Technical Management Section. The tasks to be performed are Deputising the Head of ESOC Facility Management Hard Services Section HFIFCF in technical Review and Project meetings as required Definition and implementation of technical system requirements, whether for first installation or upgrade Coordination of all installations, repair and maintenance activities, including their documentation and associated configuration management Control of the quality, specifications, costs and planning aspects of works performed by on and offsite contractors Maintenance and management of the related databases for various systems Preparation of technical specification for tender documents and purchase requests Preparation and presentation of technical reports and studies Preparation and presentation of risk assessments in ESOC Work Permit Procedure and critical maintenance activities in regard to Health and Safety, as well as ESOC critical infrastructure Supervise oncall and onsite support in case of technical problems, operational requirements or technical emergency at ESOC Follow up and supervise preventive, corrective and conditional maintenance activities performed by on and offsite contractors Follow up and collection of KPIs Key Performance Indicator for mechanical and electrical works related to the operation of existing installations and to their maintenance Support in the optimization of utilities consumption Management, preparation and presentation of ESOC utilities report Assist HFIFCH to achieve the compliance of the site infrastructure and its equipment and services with the applicable European, national and local regulations. Requirements Applicants should have a university degree or an equivalent qualification in electrical engineering with knowledge andor experience in Technical and administrative operations Customer interfaces System requirements definition Project Management Power Plant, electrical installations and data cabling infrastructure Building management and maintenance field Building Management Systems BMS, office automation tools as well as general purpose signalling, communication, control and regulation systems Drainage and sewage Elevators Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning Safety installations fire protection system, emergency lighting Security installations CCTV camera European and German Regulations. Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment. They must possess good solving, communication and negotiation skills. A good command of spoken and written English and German is required. Some knowledge of the French language would be an asset. The candidate will also be required to have experience with PC based MSOffice products.
