We are currently looking for an Electrical Ground Support Equipment EGSE Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Electrical Ground Support Equipment EGSE Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space systems and security applications. As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities Evaluation of requirements for the EGSE in cooperation with the system engineering Design and definition of EGSE Establishment of validation plan DDVPlan Report to the customer within milestone reviews Support the procurement process, mainly for technical issues Preparation of specifications Participation in reviews with the suppliers Involvement in the acceptance process Planning and execution of system acceptance and system integration Training of AIT personnel for EGSE usage. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent qualification in electrical, physics or aerospace engineering Several years of experience in satellite AIT or EGSE use Knowledge of ECSS standards for testing and verification of software and hardware Knowledge in Space Craft Checkout Systems CCS, preferably running under SCOS 2000 Version 3.1 TOPE Welldeveloped communication skills and handson mentality Fluency in English is mandatory.
