Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support to ESA in the domain of EDP Electromagnetics Components Data Power Systems Engineering. Overview Provide expertise in the field of Support to ESA projects for EMC harness as well as for magnetic cleanliness. Build up expertise and create network in the field of EMC. Definition and assessment of EMC requirements at both System and Equipment level. Definition and assessment of EMC test and verification procedures of spacecraft equipment and systems. Electromagnetic and circuital analyses. Assessment of EMC test results, EMC nonconformances and Request for Waivers. Troubleshooting activities for spacecraft equipment and system exhibiting electromagnetic interference. Active participation to Spacecraft or payloads Preliminary Design Reviews PDR, Critical Design Reviews CDR and Flight Acceptance Reviews FAR. Specific qualification requirements The candidateshall have experience of system engineering including PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related specialization. Background and experience in EMC as well as Lab testing for EMC. Expertise in EMC analysis and practical experience in EMC testing, expertise in harness engineering is an asset. Expertise in using Matlab for data processing and evaluation. Ability to work in a team as well as independently, good communication skills. Acquaintance with both Industrial EMC practices and the Agency review processes. Assessment of EMC test data, specifications and request for Waivers. EMC Test and analysis expertise. Proactive attitude to solving problems. Good organisational skills. A very good working knowledge of spoken and written English isessential. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration in line withESA Job Class. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. Training to improve efficiency and provide strength for future career are of course included. Aurora assist with relocation both with support and financially.
