Elmspring Colony earns Maple Leaf High Index award

The Swine Team of David, Will and Joe Wipf who run Elmspring Colony’s 600-sow farrow-to-finish unit in Alberta, Canada, has won the Maple Leaf Foods High Index award for the third time in four years. The High Index award at Maple Leaf in Lethbridge is won by the producer whose animals are consistently in the desired targeted core category for back fat and loin eye shipping into the plant. read more
