Eltham car dealer jailed for tax evasion

Philip Roff, 67, was sentenced to a year behind bars at Woolwich Crown Court last Friday after pleading guilty to tax and benefit fraud. The pensioner, of Rennets Wood Road, failed to properly declare his tax and national insurance for his second-hand car dealership, evading A 27,460 in tax.
