Emergency wireless network to cost more than $1B - instead of $144M

A report Wednesday shows a province-wide emergency communications network that was supposed to cost $144 million will now cost more than $1 billion. The Journal de Montreal says the wireless network will link various emergency services across Quebec including police and fire departments, hospitals, ambulance services as well as various civil security services.
