Targeting such applications as LED lighting, electric metering, motor controls, and thermostats, BV series carries Class 2 UL ratings and offers output loads from 0.6–10 VA. Winding efficiency and vacuum-sealed epoxy processes lend to thermal characteristics that enable cooler operation in continuous duty and surge testing. Surge withstand capability of 14 kV is made possible via split-bobbin design, and design minimizes EMI noise without additional shield. Dielectric strength is 4,200 Vrms.
