According to the Foundation, December 2013 Monthly Confidence Index for Equipment Finance Industry is 55.8, a decrease from November index of 56.9, reflecting industry concerns over uncertainty regarding capital expenditures and competitive market pressures in 2014. When asked to assess business conditions over next 4 months, 12% of executives said they believe business conditions will improve, down from 17.2% in November, and 9% believe business conditions will worsen, up from 3.4%.
