Equipment Leasing and Finance Association's Survey of Economic Activity: Monthly Leasing and ...

ELFA Monthly Leasing and Finance Index indicated 23% rise in business volume for April year-over-year and 10% rise over March. Index also showed receivables over 30 days were unchanged from previous 2 months, while companies reported submitting 50% more credit transactions than previous month. Also, ELFI's Monthly Confidence Index increased to 56.7 in May. Both indices show optimism on direction of U.S. economy, according to ELFA President and CEO William G. Sutton.
