European car sales up 1.4%

Turin, June 16 - Car sales in the 28 member States of the European Union and three member States of the European Free Trade Association rose by 1.4% in May over the same month in 2014, vehicle makers' association ACEA said Tuesday. ACEA reported that 1,151,968 new cars were registered in May, taking to 6,000,443 the number of cars sold in the first five months of the year.
