BusinessGreen: The EU saw almost 11GW if new wind energy capacity come online last year, accounting for almost a third of new power capacity and meeting eight per cent of EU electricity demand.
However, the performance represented a slowdown on 2012, with eight per cent less new wind energy capacity installed during 2013.
That is the conclusion of a new report released this week by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA), detailing the market's performance last year.
