If you can fight off big post-Christmas crowds, national car experts say you can snag major discounts on new cars and trucks before the end of the year. In some cases, those discounts could slash 10 percent off the purchase prices of a new ride, according to online car buying site Edmunds.com, who called the week between Christmas and New Year's the busiest of the year for the nation's auto dealers.
