Thanks to a Washington Township Education Foundation min-grant obtained by Science teachers Julie Lyons and Tara Bartelt, sixth-grade girls at Bunker Hill Middle School recently had the opportunity to go through the "Women in Engineering" program with representatives from Exxon-Mobil. Exxon-Mobil employees Joan Kaminski, David Racke, Candice Pelligra and Megan Ewel spent Thursday and Friday afternoon taking the students through exercises to highlight everything that makes science, and engineering specifically, interesting.
