Exxon poised to raise output at Torrance refinery

Exxon Mobil's plan to increase production at its Torrance, Calif., refinery appears on track for approval , according to the LA Times . XOM is now scheduled to meet the South Coast Air Quality Management District next Thursday, seeking permission to use an old pollution control system to replace one destroyed in an explosion at the Torrance plant in February.
