2013-04-05 06:00:00| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Last month, FAA announced it would eliminate funding for 149 federal contract air traffic control towers as part of agency’s required $637 million budget cuts under sequestration. FAA said today that it will delay tower closures until June 15, allowing agency to attempt to resolve multiple legal challenges to closure decisions.
