FAA, in partnership with National Air Traffic Controllers Association, announced safety reporting program called Airport Voluntary Reporting System, which allows FAA employees who work in the Office of Airports to elevate safety concerns without fear of retaliation. AVRS process begins when employee files confidential report to raise safety issue through online reporting system.
