FAA is proposing $63,000 civil penalty against Skinfix, Inc. for allegedly violating U.S. DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations. FAA alleges that on July 10, 2013, Skinfix shipped a quart of ethyl alcohol on a UPS aircraft from Bedford, Nova Scotia to Chatsworth, CA. Investigators determined that shipment was not accompanied by shipping papers to indicate hazardous nature of its contents and it was not marked, labeled, or packed in accordance with the Hazardous Materials Regulations.
