In light of a series of recent events, FAA will conduct a comprehensive review of the Boeing 787 critical systems, including design, manufacture, and assembly. Purpose of review is to validate work conducted during certification process and further ensure that aircraft meets FAA’s high level of safety. Team of FAA and Boeing engineers and inspectors will conduct joint review, with emphasis on aircraft’s electrical power and distribution system.
