FABTECH 2013 set attendee, exhibitor, and floor space records. In total, 40,667 attendees visited 1,573 exhibitors to see live equipment demonstrations and compare products side-by-side at displays spread across 650,000 ft² of exhibits at McCormick Place. FABTECH show co-manager John Catalano noted how attendees were impressed with show's size and scope as well as number of new products and technologies and that exhibitors reported "brisk" sales activity and "plentiful" leads.
