Philadelphia-based chemical company FMC Corp has agreed to sell a unit for $1.64B to make room for a $1.8B acquisition of another company. Philadelphia-based chemical company FMC Corp. said Tuesday that it has agreed to sell its Alkali Chemicals business to Tronox Ltd. for $1.64 billion.
