FPES receives $8,000 in grants

Four teachers at Foster Park Elementary School will use a total of $8,000 in grants awarded by two foundations to purchase classroom supplies and fund activities for the school's students. Principal Barbara Palmer announced that the school had received a $4,000 grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation and another $4,000 in grants from the PPG Industries Foundation.
