The Federal Trade Commission claims Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. has decieved customers for falsely advertising their vehicles, saying they supposedly used "clean diesel." Volkswagen fitted its VWs and Audis with illegal emission defeat devices, which were designed to cover high emissions during government testing, according to a statement released by the FTC.
