Facebook tests Facebook at Work apps

(Telecompaper) Facebook has started a new app aimed at expanding the social network's footprint to the workplace. Facebook at Work is now available for iOS and Android devices, for users who have created a Facebook account via their employer. The app provides a news feed with what's happening at the company, allows users to create and join groups to collaborate with colleagues, and supports chats with one or more co-workers or contacts. The employer creates the main account, and the employees can then join. They can keep their work account separate or also link with it their personal Facebook account.
