Heads up to anyone interested in a fast track to a manufacturing career: Information session for the Florida TRADE Manufacturing Program will run Monday, March 2, and Thursday, March 5, at 5 p.m. presented by the College of Workforce and Continuing Education at Daytona State College . The Florida TRADE Manufacturing program can open doors to a career in manufacturing through an 11-week course that starts April 27. The course develops an initial set of technical skills that can lead to certifications, internships and job interviews with partnering manufacturing companies such as AO Precision, Covidien, Thomas & Betts, and Hudson Technologies.
