Executives in the auto, restaurant and tourism sectors in Colorado and nearby states reported "a slight decline" in sales in October and November from previous months, but overall consumer spending in the region "increased at a modest pace" over the period, the U.S. Federal Reserve reports in its latest regional "Beige Book" survey. The regional Beige Book covers the Fed's Kansas City-based 10th District, which includes Colorado and some or all of six neighboring states.
